"Members of the Confirmation Catechists Team are looking forward to welcoming candidates in the New Year for Confirmation which will take place on Saturday 3rd May 2008. News of the course will be announced at church and through the newsletter as soon as it is are available. As in the last few years, all the candidates will be already in year 10 at school or older. Younger hopefuls can look forward with envious anticipation to the time when they are in year 10 and can be Confirmed. The policy of inviting older candidates for Confirmation was adopted when Fr Fergal was helping us with Confirmation and is designed to enable candidates to make a mature and independent choice to receive this important Sacrament." - Chris Henley
