Towards an Inclusive Parish
The Parish has started a program to improve accessibility for all and to address the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
Fr Barry Angus, former Parish Priest at St Chad's, wrote two introductory letters:
The first step in this process was a Parish Community Survey, distributed on Sunday 5th October 2003.
Following completion of the survey, a number of changes have been made to the church to improve accessibility. These include the installation of disabled lavatories to the church hall and two new ramps, one to the main doors of the church and one to the hall.
