Father God, you hear the cries of your people
May we hear your call during this time of listening
May each of us answer "Here I am Lord"
May St Chad's parish hear and respond to Your mission for us

Lord Jesus, you opened your heart to us
When you opened your arms on the Cross.
Bless us through this mission
That we are able to open our hearts to You,
To each other and to all people

Holy Spirit of God, open our minds
That we may have a better understanding
Of the intensity of God's love for us
And the power of His forgiveness.
Open our minds to welcome new ideas

Father, Son and Spirit
you welcome us through baptism
Into the same love which makes three persons one God.
May our parish become a place where
People experience profound welcome,
A sense of belonging and a reflection of their worth in your eyes.
