Ascension

First Communion: There will be First Holy Communion quality gifts available to purchase after 10.30 am Mass.

Baptisms: If you would like to have your child Baptised in May, please collect a form from the Presbytery. Completed forms must be returned to the Presbytery by Wednesday 7th May. You are also required to attend three short meetings in the Presbytery from 7.00pm to 7.30pm on Friday 9th, 16th and 23rd of May. Baptism will take place on Sunday 25th of May.

Novena to the Holy Spirit: The Novena to the Holy Spirit for the reunion of Christendom begins on Friday 2nd May. All are invited to pick-up a leaflet at the porch and to say it privately at home. However, we invite you to join in saying it after our daily masses.

Christian Aid Week: Is from May 11th to 17th this year. This is one way we can work together with other churches to help bring about a better life for people in poor communities all over the world. Please pray for the success of the week. Volunteers are needed urgently to help with the house to house collection. Can you spare a bit of time that week? If so, please contact Bob. Monopoly Marathon: The Listening Ear is a charitable organisation offering bereavement counseling to the wider community. We are currently raising funds by holding a Marathon Monopoly fun walk around London on 17th May 2008. So please come and join us or if not, support us. Sponsor Forms available in the porch. Mass For New Catholics: There will be a special Mass of Thanksgiving to welcome all New Catholics on Saturday 17th May, 2008 at 11.00am in St. George’s Cathedral, Southwark. Bishop John Hine will preside at this Mass and he looks forward to meeting all new Catholics received into the Church this Easter – along with their godparents, sponsors, relatives, clergy, catechists and friends. All are welcome to come and take part in this Thanksgiving Mass.

Marriage And Family Life: Celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage is taking place at Aylesford Friary on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. Invitations can be obtained by sending details of those celebrating special anniversaries - 10th , 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th and upwards - to the area coordinators.
